McCoy sets NCAA record with 43rd win

"I always love winning," McCoy said. "I'm just so thankful. It's really special."

Texas secures spot in Big 12 title game

McCoy completed 32 of 41 passes for 396 yards and four touchdowns to make his final college home game one to remember. The four year starter has put the Longhorns in good position to play for the BCS national championship.

McCoy currently owns 45 school records, and moves closer each week to becoming the first Longhorn to win the Heisman since Ricky Williams in 1998.

He is one of just five quarterbacks to pass for at least 2,500 yards in four seasons. He ranks fifth in total offense, 12th in passing yardage and seventh in touchdown passes for his career.

Win over Oklahoma State keeps McCoy on track for the Heisman

Texas's 41-14 victory over Oklahoma State makes the Longhorns 8-0 this season, and brings Colt McCoy one week closer to the Heisman.

Although still sitting at
#4 in some polls, USA has him at #3, and McCoy has even jumped to the #1 spot in others.

Oklahoma State may have been the toughest game left on the Longhorn schedule, and it will be interesting to see how the next few weeks play out. Next up: UCF at home on Saturday at 11am CT.
